Week1A: My Blog Theme

Hello everyone who is actually taking the time to check out my blog and reading this first entry! You are very much appreciated! This is my first time ever making a blog and using blogger.com

With this being the first post, let's discuss the theme. Again, since I am new to this I think I will be changing my theme very often. I will try to experiment with the settings and familiarize myself with how it works first before committing to any specific one. For the theme that blogger.com gives you for the overall look, I have chosen the "Soho theme" just for now. Why did I choose it? Cause it sounded like Boho. I am currently obsessed with the Boho theme that has been circulating on Instagram lately. It's just a whole vibe. For you wondering what a Boho theme is, ill be adding some pictures (from google) down below so you can get a little sense of what it is.

Lately, I have been drawn to more rustic colors. Like rustic oranges and browns and greens. The way they complement each other and give life to a room. I also think it's just visually satisfying. When you come into a space that is visually satisfying, I do believe it alters the energy in the room that can be coming in and out of the room/space. I would like my blog to be a space that can make anyone feel welcomed. Where I can express my authentic self and attract good energy people to my blog.

I look forward to reading everyone else's first blog entry!

  1. I do like your Boho theme and color choices. The funny thing is, this looks like what I saw in the 70's growing up! I like the natural, laid back look. Normally I don't like a dark background because it is difficult for me to read but yours was easy on the eyes and not as stark.

I love your theme so much, I chose the same one! I agree with loving the boho theme, I have been all about it lately. I like what you said about the energy of the room. I think warm tones like browns and oranges bring in a satisfying feeling that makes someone feel comfortable!

  3. Hi Lulu,
I think you've got the right vibe with this theme. It's very warm and welcoming and should definitely attract the good energy you're looking for. Great examples of Boho rooms-they look so inviting and those blankets look so soft and warm!

  4. Hi LuLu!

I like your Soho theme, and I can picture you as a spirited young person living in the city and enjoying your independent life. I can imagine you eating and shopping with friends and then coming back to this lovely bedroom after a fun day.
