Week 2 Part A: Communication Between Business & Consumer
I focused my reviews on yelp for food places that are close by. What I thought is wow! Some people are really mean!! I read a couple reviews from this place called "TJ Tacos" that is here in Escondido. Wow, there are alot of people complaining of the stingyness of their salsa which is supposed to be free. They also complain about the long lines and their fresh COLD food. I could only imagine how many people decide not to give this place a try since they did have a customer say they found some bugs in their food which actually hurt their business quite heavily. I also read some reviews on a small business of a girl who makes chili covered candies called LulasGoodies. Alot of people are inlove with her treats and the serving size but alot have also commented on the business owners attitude and prices. This can hurt and help her business. Its really what you want to take from it.
The only times I have found myself reviewing products or businesses is when I had a above and beyond experience or a really really really really really bad one. I have worked in customer service all my life, so I know what its like to be on the other end. I know mistakes happen and everyone deserves a second chance. I really do think it all depends on how the business reacts to the problem and what they do to resolve it. I have noticed most of my reviews are almost always dependent on my emotion. Which I dont know if its good or bad. Ask anyone, I am a really pacient, and understanding person and it takes alot for me to become super upset. So when I do, just know you messed up lol.
If it were my business on social media. I would love to see my positive and negative comments. I believe sometimes it can be useful to be able to appeal more customers to my business and making sure they are heard. I mean I am taking their money. They would be my reason for exsistance. The only times I would maybe be upset on a negative or maybe be dismissive about it is if its insulting my craft. Or if it was used to attack me or any of my employees. I did read a review at one of the old restauraunts I used to work at. Its called Poseidon on the Beach. I thought why not look at the reviews. I read such a rude review that made me so angry. This customer had the audacity to be judging one of the servers look and weight. It just really angered me because it had absolutly nothing to do with the business or the service that this specific server gave, but instead it was all about insulting this server for the way she looked. Reviews like that, should be deleted and ignored.
Some business I reviewed!!
The first business was @Diosafitofficial on IG. She is this strong, powerfull, and inspiring girl that actually started a gym clothing business since she saw the lack of representation of women with all shapes and colors. She has some really cute cloths and I had recently bought a whole bunch while they were on sale, and never reviewed them. So this assignment really motivated me to go give her a 5 star review. Her clothing fits me so well, than anything I have ever worn before. So that was mostly what I talked about. Letting all girls that this was a business worth supporting and purchasing from.
The next business I reviewed from was an Amazon product. As ive mentioned before, I used to be so influenced by the "New Find on Amazon" videos on IG. Everyone was hyping up this plug in iphone charger. No chord, just charger. I bought one for everyone last christmas. I actually didnt use it till everyone opened theirs for Christmas. Well lets just say it didnt really hold a charge. So my review was, "Way over hyped, its not it. Maybe if it held a longer charge, than it would be worth the money."
Lastly, I wrote a review on Yelp for my favorite Ramen place in Convoy. Its called RakiRaki. Their raki raki sushi roll is to die for! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMYYY. Their ramen is on a whole other level and never disappoints. The only thing I would improve is maybe insalling a AC because have come here and you will be sweating into the soup lol. Or maybe it was just really spicy but I still enjoyed it.
Will insert sushi roll picture here, so your jelouse.

Lulu, I really liked the photos that you added to reinforce what you were writing about. I haven't figured that out yet! I have worked customer service for a long time and some people want to complain about nothing. Customers fail to realize that the employees are human as well. I think that it is interesting that your reviews are based on emotion. I rarely leave a review unless I really like the product or service. I definitely read reviews and that influences whether I will purchase the product or not. I also enjoyed your style of writing, it flows nicely.
