Week 4 Part B: Defining YOUR Target Market
The name of my business is Lulu's Jewelry Box. It is a jewelry and accessories business. It will be just used for this class. I am still up in the air about what I want to do and what kind of business I want to do as a solid business. I will be using Facebook and Instagram. I'm not sure how I am supposed to have any followers on there if it's a fictitious business. My target audience and potential customers will be most likely women and maybe a small number of men. The age range will be from 15-40. That is just an estimate, not saying that anyone over 40 doesn't or can't wear jewelry. Prices will be affordable and inexpensive. With an on a growing trend of about 90% of all businesses in the world are using Instagram regularly, and 80% of users are following these businesses. You can only imagine how much it is helping smaller businesses. A trend I have seen just constantly on social media is the jewelry business. I follow a good amount, so I have been able to study and watch some of these businesses grow and become really successful. Over the summer, I had a shop that I sold on Depop. It was accessories and jewelry and made a decent amount of income. It was fun and super trendy. I wish I would have continued with it except I did close my store since I had people surrounding me that had COVID and didn't want any of my things being shipped out and maybe contaminated since I got super paranoid with all of it. I can't wait to set up my Facebook shop on Thursday and recreating it.
