Week 5 Part B: Learning about Facebook Data Collecting
The importance of post reach is being able to see how many people are viewing or coming across your page. Who exactly is coming accross it on their feed. Post engagement is exactly that, the engagement of each post. Certain post will have more likes and shares than others, which shows the popularity of an item or type of post. People will show this by liking, reposting, sharing, and commenting.
From post reach you can learn where your post are showing up the most and the people you are attracting. This can help show you where you should focus or shift your target. For example, inserting yourself in multiple communities to help with exposure that can lead to more potential sales. Post engagement teaches us what is more liked, and what is calling to action the most. When starting off a new business this will help with what you should continue to make or post more of because it is liked by many. You can also see what isnt selling as much and reducing your production and restocks on that specific item or service.
Using Facebooks insight allows you to better serve customers by answering commonly asked question. Being able to change and improve products and services by feedback. It almost feels like it is a tool to show you a whole picture of whats working for your facebook page and what isnt. Because I dont have 100 followers, I can not use the business insight tool i think. This is based on what I researched and googled.
